Dressember 2018 Fall Internships

It's hiring season here at Dressember. Every year, we could not make the impact we do without our amazing team of interns. They are truly what keeps us growing and moving forward. If you're looking for an opportunity to use your time and talent to further engage in the fight to end slavery, a Dressember internship might be for you!

All internships below will start in September 2018 and end in February 2019. Please note that all internships are unpaid positions, and college internship credit is available upon request. Applicants must be 20 years or older by start date of the internship.

Editorial Intern 

The Dressember Editorial team is a group of talented writers who contribute weekly editorial pieces for use on the Dressember blog! Our daily blog exists to educate, inspire, and share opportunities with our global community. You will work with an editor to create quality pieces you can be proud of! 

Time commitment: 10 hours/week

Location: Remote

Graphic Design Intern

Have your design work seen by freedom fighters all over the globe! In this role, you will work directly with the Dressember team to create fun & captivating graphics for  our Dressember 2018 campaign. Appreciation for puns a plus! 

Time commitment: 10 hours/week

Location: Los Angeles location preferred but not required

Administrative Intern

You'll work with our Admin Bosslady & the rest of the Dressember team to bring our winter campaign to life by assisting with day to day office tasks. In this position, you'll experience the inner-workings of a rapidly growing non-profit, and have the chance to engage and support our community of advocates.

Time Commitment: 10 hours/week

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Social Media Intern

You'll work with our Communications Manager to plan, schedule and post related content to Dressember's social media accounts, engaging with our social media community of over 20,000! This role will allow you to develop social media skills as you explore the ins and outs of Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.

Time Commitment: 10 hours/week

Location: Los Angeles, CA preferred

Blog Curator Intern

This role will allow you to be a main curator of Dressember's archive of advocate resources, the Dressember blog! Our daily blog exists to educate, inspire, and share opportunities with our global community. You'll be the mastermind behind the creative formatting & scheduling of resources. Familiarity with Squarespace & past blogging experience a plus! 

Time commitment: 10 hours/week

Location: Los Angeles location preferred but not required.

Merchandise Intern

In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of shipping and fulfilling orders made through the Dressember online store. You'll work with our Shopify system, the local post office, and the Dressember team to keep inventory and ship out products to our community. 

 

Time commitment: 10 hours/week
