Bring the Dressember 5k to Your City

For the past five years, the Dressember campaign and thousands of advocates have shown the world you can do anything in a dress. Now, in our first Spring event ever, we're putting our money where our mouth is and running a 5K in dresses (and ties).

If you're joining us in Southern California, we can't wait to see you sporting your dresses and ties at iconic Griffith Park. Be sure to purchase your ticket for the event and create your campaign page. Kids under 12 run for free!

If you're not joining us in Los Angeles, then follow these three steps to join us from wherever you are!

It's easy as 1,2,3

Step 1: Set up a campaign page!

Campaign Page

In minutes, you'll be equipped with a shareable campaign page. Tell your friends and family why you're running in a dress or tie on May 20th and invite them to join you! Consider being your first donor to show your community that you're serious about bringing an end to human trafficking. Then get to fundraising! You'll never know the impact you could make. (Need some sample social media posts? We got you.)

Step 2: Plan out your route

Route Map

Scout out an area in your community that spans 3.1 miles. Consider running at your local park or in your neighborhood. Check out the current teams to see if there is already a route planned for your city! If there isn't, consider starting a team of your own.

Step 3: Run with us, make a difference

RUN

Download our resource packet for access to everything you need to know for running in your city. We'll equip you with a printable race bib and access to our downloadable audio experience so you can join us virtually from wherever you are.

We invite you to link arms with us, wherever you are in the world, and join us on May 20th as we walk, run, skip, or jump 3.1 miles in a dress or tie. Our collective efforts will create a special anti-trafficking grant benefitting the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST).

Our Impact:

At Dressember, we're committed to empowering survivors of human trafficking. We're honored to be partnering with CAST this Spring to benefit their work The funds raised this spring will benefit the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) whose work serves survivors from 67 countries around the world, providing support at every phase of a human trafficking victim's journey as they seek to become an empowered survivor.

The Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST) is a Los Angeles–based nonprofit organization that is working to put an end to modern slavery and human trafficking through comprehensive, lifesaving services to survivors and a platform to advocate for groundbreaking policies and legislation. Over the past two decades, CAST has supported thousands of survivors through every phase of their journey to freedom from counseling, to legal resources, to housing, educational and leadership training and mentorship.
