I feel responsible to contribute in any way possible to support people who are struggling to break free of such devastating circumstances.

Jennifer Morrison needs no introduction (but we’ll give her one anyway). Jennifer Morrison is a director, actor, and two-time Dressember designer. You may recognize her as Emma Swan from 'Once Upon a Time' or Dr. Allison Cameron from 'House'. She recently directed an episode of the show EUPHORIA for HBO. You can also catch her this September in the fourth season of 'This is Us'. Last year, Jennifer Morrison designed a gorgeously classic dress for our 2018 Collection. This year, Jennifer is back with “The Jen”, a chic and flirty wrap dress. Let’s hear what Jennifer has been up to since she designed for us last year.

Why did you design your dress the way you did?

I wanted to find another dress design that would be comfortable and chic for everyday occasions.

Why does Dressember’s mission of a world without slavery resonate with you?

There is so much luck involved in where we are born into the world. I have always been free and I have always had a family that helped me have a vibrant life. It is heartbreaking to think that some people never have that kind of opportunity or support in their lives. I feel responsible to contribute in any way possible to support people who are struggling to break free of such devastating circumstances.

What is something you’re proud of right now?

I recently directed an episode of the show EUPHORIA for HBO. The show starts important conversations about how difficult and sometimes dangerous it is to be a young person in the world today. I am proud to be a part of such thought provoking and empathy provoking material.

Anything else you’d like to share with us?
