TOGETHER, CHANGE IS HAPPENING.

By participating in Dressember, you directly impact the fight to rescue, protect, and restore the lives of trafficking victims and survivors worldwide. Funds raised through Dressember provide the means to create and build new and innovative programs. Here are some of the ways your generosity is changing lives:

Prevention

With your help, we are funding empowerment programs that support young people living in group homes, foster care, and at-risk communities. These programs provide education, life and job skills training, and counseling services.

Rescue

Our partners work closely with law enforcement to identify, protect, and free people who have been forced into human trafficking. They also train law enforcement, hospital staff, and transportation authorities to identify conspicuous signs of slavery.

Holistic Aftercare

We know that every survivor deserves unique, individual treatment. Survivors are provided with access to housing, medical treatment, as well as individualized trauma therapy, vocational opportunities, and education.

When you donate to (or fundraise on behalf of) Dressember, you are a part of strategic anti-trafficking grants that provide our partners with the funds to move the needle toward change.

Our Five Key Criteria

To ensure that your gift is making a long lasting difference, we vet our partners annually through the following criteria:

Partners who understand the complexity of the issue and seek to empower others and work together toward an end to this injustice

  • CULTURAL SENSITIVITY

Partners who seek to understand and work with locals who understand an area's nuances and culture on a deeper level

  • MEASUREABLE IMPACT

Work that is proven to protect victims, increase convictions of perpetrators, and/or prevent the spread of slavery

  • INNOVATION

Work that uses creativity to dismantle a shrewd and manipulative industry

— Elsa, Survivor

With therapy, I’ve been able to overcome what happened to me. I think I have a big future ahead of me. Now, I can see myself caring for children, like as a pediatrician.
— Liana, Survivor

Without education, you can do nothing. My dream is to study so I can stand on my own two feet. If you want to do something in life, you have to leave your past and focus on the future.
